Just to reiterate...

You should be stood outside the town hall in hebden bridge for 11am if you are walking to the mill UNLESS you are in group 3 in which case you should know by now!

If you are NOT walking to the mill please be stood outside the town hall for 11.15am.

The bus will be one from central garage.

Try to bring appropriate footwear that you can change if you are walking, it is a mile. Be prepared!

Please walk back to the car park from the ceremony for no later than 15.45.




The evening reception starts at 7pm be there before 8pm or you will miss the cake cutting and first dance :)

Parking

The bus is going to be picking everyone up from outside the town hall in Hebden Bridge, look out for the bus with 'central garage' on it!

I know that not everyone is bringing their cars but for those of you that are you can find car parks on the link below:

The best one is the Valley Road car park, this is the rough car park behind the one straight opposite the town hall. It has long stay options and is near to the venues. If you are paying to park please note that after 6pm parking is free so you dont need to pay for the whole evening!



Evening guests:
Parking on all Hebden bridge car parks is free after 6pm. Be careful of on street parking as some of  the streets near the town hall turn to residential parking in the evening and you are likely to get a ticket!

These are the groups that I have put together, as you can see the non walking group has plenty of space so if anybody would prefer not to walk then please let me know ASAP!!
Its a 16 seater minibus.

Timings may be a little off so you may have a little waiting time but its better to be early than not!

12- 13 - group 1 and bridal party walking up separately , guests enjoying water and tea at mill
13- ceremony
13.30- bride and groom exit to bubbles (no confetti) tea and cakes follow
14- group photos
14.30- bride and groom photos, guests can begin to walk back to car park
15- latest time to walk back to car park
15.30- bus departs 15.45
16- white lion for wedding breakfast
17.30- informal speeches
18- free time for dog walking/ drinking/ heading to town hall
19- reception at town hall starts
20- cake cutting followed by first dance
21.30- hot sandwiches served
24- curfew

Honeymoon

As I hope you all know, the most important thing is that you spend the day with us and we don't expect any gifts!
However if you do wish to give us a little something we would prefer a small contribution to help us enjoy our honeymoon as we already have a house full of stuff!

We have finally booked our honeymoon! We are going to Switzerland on 13th September at 11.30, probably feeling hungover and sorry for ourselves!

RSVP's

I know that it is very far in advance but the sooner I can have RSVP's back the better as I need to give numbers for food.
My deadline is 1/08/2014. If I don't receive it by then I will assume you are not coming and there will be no food available for you!

Please let me know either way so that I can plan! Or even if it is a maybe, then I can prepare for a few extra's.

Hotel Rooms at The White Lion

Just a little reminder that all hotel rooms at The white lion in Hebden Bridge are reserved for our wedding party if you wish to stay there for the night. This deadline for this is 18th July. After that date they may be booked out to other people.

Prices for these rooms are:
 £95 for a courtyard double,twin, or family room

£105 for a boutique double

£125 for a boutique suite with roll top bath or executive twin


Please look at their website for more info and if you wish to book please make sure you mention our names!

I need everyone to know that there is absolutely NO mobile phone signal as soon as you leave the car park at Hardcastle Crags. Therefore if there is any emergency or reason to get in touch there is a landline at the mill.

A taxi from Hebden Bridge to Halifax will cost between £17 and £28 according to this website.

Hebden Bridge:

THE WHITE LION - this is where our wedding breakfast will be held and is a minutes walk from the reception venue, we have priority booking here until july if you say that you are attending our wedding. Prices range from £95 to £125 per night but rooms are excellent quality. Limited car parking.

CROFT MILL:  about 5 mins walk from the reception venue but absolutely stunning accomodation, very modern. Secure car parking. Prices range from £79 to £100 per night.

THE CROWN INN- centrally located in Hebden Bridge, about 2 mins walk from reception venue. No parking that I am aware of. Prices range from £49 to £99 per night.



Halifax:

PREMIER INN: centrally located in Halifax town centre, adequate parking. Prices range from £29 to £47 per night.

TRAVELODGE: slightly out of Halifax centre, plenty of parking. Prices range from £28 to £43 per night.





There are also small private B&Bs located in Hebden Bridge, a few of which are very close to Hardcastle Crags. A google search should bring them up.
